TFCU Raises Money for Children’s Miracle Network Car Show

OKLAHOMA CITY – Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU) hosted its 17th annual Miracle Car show recently to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The event raised $12,388 in donations and was also granted a Miracle Match through Miracle Match Financial Services, which matched up to $10,000. Overall, $22,388 was raised.

The car show featured door prizes, music, concessions, crafts and a 50/50 raffle, along with awards for winners.

“We had a fantastic team at this year’s Miracle Car Show to make the event possible, as well as some amazing entries,” Starla Shatswell, TFCU’s car show coordinator, said. “This event is always so fun to put on and we love having an opportunity to help our fellow Oklahomans.”

Children’s Miracle Network funds children’s medical research and works to enhance children’s lives in Oklahoma. All of the money raised will stay in Oklahoma and benefit Children’s Hospital Foundation. Children’s Miracle Network has been one of TFCU’s corporate charities for the past 18 years.

This is one of the numerous charity activities TFCU coordinates. In addition to funds raised by the car show, employees of the credit union raised funds to benefit Children’s Miracle Network, donating a grand total of $47,300 to the cause.
