Teacher of the Year

You make a difference in the classroom

We want to help.

What is TFCU’s Teacher of the Year Award?

As a teacher, you value education. You work hard to teach Oklahoma’s next generation, putting your heart, soul and, sometimes, money into making sure your classroom has what you need.

At Tinker Federal Credit Union, we also value education and our educators, especially those who work to make a difference by promoting good financial decision making among their students.

At TFCU, our mission is to help our members achieve their goals and realize their dreams. So, we want to reward teachers who have similar goals for their students. The Teacher of the Year awards give us the opportunity to acknowledge educators who are making a difference by teaching good money habits in the classroom.

Tell us how you promote smart money choices in the classroom, and you could be one of our three teachers selected as a TFCU Teacher of the Year. You could win:

  • $2,000 each to three winning teachers (three different school size categories).
  • $1,000 to each winner’s school.

It’s our way of saying “we get it.”

Nominate a teacher

Not a teacher, but know one who deserves the TFCU Teacher of the Year award? You can also nominate a teacher.

Winners

Applicants will need to follow all rules and answer all questions to be considered. Winners will be chosen by a panel of TFCU judges, who will select a submission from each school category based on how well the judges feel they answered the questions.
