Does TFCU have a business continuity plan that addresses the COVID-19 situation?

TFCU has an active team monitoring the spread and impacts of this virus. This team is leaning on a well- developed business continuity plan that is reviewed and tested regularly at TFCU.

What is TFCU’s position on wearing facemasks?

TFCU follows CDC recommendations regarding facemasks or cloth face covers.

What is TFCU doing to take care of employees during the COVID-19 outbreak?

TFCU takes the health and safety of our employees very seriously. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are already making modifications in our operations that will allow the safest possible environment while also providing our members the services they need. These precautions include:

  • Increased cleaning and sanitization of our branch facilities, including drive-thrus, and ATMs.
  • We have provided employees with best practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses or illnesses.
  • We have limited meetings and other public events, and we have established procedures for staying home if sick.

How is TFCU cleaning branches?

TFCU uses professional cleaning companies to provide hospital grade cleaning services in our branches and branch restrooms. These companies use commercially approved cleaning products to ensure objects and surfaces are thoroughly sanitized and disinfected on a regular basis.

What is TFCU doing to reduce exposure?

In addition to frequent cleaning, all branch locations have hand sanitizer available for member use, and we are encouraging best practices among our employees such as frequent and regular hand washing and refraining from touching the eyes, nose and mouth. We encourage members to use our online services in support of social distancing best practices. TFCU has suspended offering coffee for the membership in addition to removing the SaveAbles Kids Club treasure chest from the lobby to prevent the potential spread of COVID-19 until further notice.

Will TFCU’s hours of operation change as the COVID-19 situation develops?

TFCU has resumed normal branch lobby services. However, for your safety and the safety of our employees, please continue to maintain good social distancing practices. We encourage you to use online, phone, ATM and drive-thru services when possible.

Our Member Service Center hours will remain the same: Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may also reach our Member Service Center by phone at (405) 732-0324, or through live chat at TinkerFCU.org.

Is TFCU imposing any type of transaction limits?

At this time, all transaction activities are available to our members. While your funds are in your TFCU account, they are insured up to $250,000. We encourage our members to be cautious about making excessive cash withdrawals.

Will Stock Market volatility impact TFCU?

TFCU is financially strong and we don’t anticipate serious negative impact to our financial standing. In good times and bad, we make sure TFCU maintains a level of capital that can weather almost any storm.

Understand the COVID-19 facts by follow the CDC’s recommendations to help you and your family stay safe. We also encourage you to take advantage of our remote options (online, mobile and telephone account access) to limit your exposure and the exposure of our employees and other members. We suggest regularly sanitizing your debit and credit cards. Additionally, please consider using digital, contactless payment options to reduce or eliminate your use of cash, when possible.
