Set Up Travel Alerts Before You Go
When you travel out of the state or country with your TFCU MoneyPlus card or credit card, please notify us about when and where you will be traveling. Simply set up your travel alerts in Home Branch Mobile, Home Branch (select “Add a Trip” in the bottom right corner) or ask the Member Service Center at (405) 732-0324, option 6, or 1-800-456-4828, option 6, to make a note about the dates and places you will be traveling.
Using the Home Branch Mobile app
To notify us of your traveling plan, please follow these steps:
- Open up the Home Branch Mobile app and log in using your Home Branch information
- Click on the navigation menu, located at the top right corner of the app
- Click the “Travel Notification” button in the menu
- In the form provided, include all of the cards you will be using on your trip, the dates you will be gone and everywhere you will be going. Please include any layover locations, as well.
Why do we need this information?
For your protection, TFCU systems monitor your debit and credit cards for fraud. If the system identifies transactions that seem different from your normal activity, we will contact you by phone for verification. If we can’t reach you, we will leave a message. In some cases, where the activity is suspicious, a temporary block may be placed on your card to prevent anyone from using your card fraudulently.
Ask us to place a note on your account at least 24 hours prior to your trip to ensure continued access to your account. Provide your cell phone number as your primary or secondary contact number, so we can reach you if we have concerns about your card.
